DeGould – Leading the way with AI
One of our clients, DeGould, supplies automotive OEMs with automated vehicle inspection solutions, powered by AI (Artificial Intelligence). The growth of the entrepreneurial business has been fast-paced, and last week they’ve announced the exciting news that their third round of funding has been completed, providing £6 million of capital to accelerate the supply of the vehicle inspections systems. DeGould is proud of this achievement, and we’re pleased we are able to support the people of DeGould in their growth plans.
The Last Straw Cheltenham – changing the world one straw at a time
Local Cheltenham firm ‘The Last Straw Cheltenham’ was founded by two brothers with the aim to eradicate plastic straws and encourage the use of eco-friendly biodegradable options. They’ve sourced straws made out bamboo and wheat. Lots of local bars and restaurants are supporting the brothers and have made the switch to supplying these in their premises. We spoke to Amal, who is proud of his achievements and stated: “The aim of the business isn’t to make money but to help our planet and support other businesses in making more environmentally friendly decisions and reduce plastic pollution.” Amal, Director.
Shaping – Unique approach to Business
Another one of our clients, Shaping, founded in 2018 by Adam Bolas is dedicated to providing technological and real-world solutions to child exploitation, abuse and harm. Helping to make the internet a safe space for children and their parents. CEO Adam has adapted the traditional business model; offering flexible working, working days are 10am – 3pm and employing graduates under the Governments Kickstarter scheme. So far, it’s proving a success and we’re excited to be part of this pioneering business and for its future.
Leaf and Ground – surviving the pandemic and supporting locals with fresh coffee and fresh air
Despite launching their business just before the pandemic hit, Leaf and Ground, based in Gloucestershire have continued to grow, adapt, prosper and remain open throughout the whole of 2020 with their takeaway services and outdoor coffee pod. Creating a nurturing environment which attracts not only the locals but people from all over the Gloucestershire region to come and enjoy coffee, cakes, views and a walk in the countryside.
Tetbury Hospital – recruiting for Gloucestershire
Tetbury hospital have continued to work seamlessly and tirelessly throughout the pandemic. Steeple Chase Distillery – hobby turned business!
Lockdown saw Cheltenham chemistry teacher Adam making a change to his career. Utilising his chemistry skillset and knowledge absorbed from attending various distillery experiences and a passion for high quality gin – Adam made the plunge and obtained the correct licences in order for to begin making and selling gin, his business Steeply Chase Distillery is up and running with lots of local south best businesses supporting them and stocking their gin. All the gin flavours are inspired by Adam’s love of horse racing.
Rise HR Ltd (formerly CitrusHR Consulting) – Shortlisted: HR Consultancy of the Year
We have already shouted about this but we’re so proud to have been shortlisted as HR Consultancy of the Year for the Personnel Today Awards 2021 and in a matter of weeks we will find out who has won the award. The team will be attending the awards night next month, Tuesday 16 November at the Grosvenor Hotel, London – we will keep everyone updated on our Instagram stories so keep an eye out!
