Will you embrace AI in 2025?

With the financial pressures on small businesses, is now maybe the time to consider reviewing practices and getting creative with AI? AI is integrated into more and more software, and without even realising it – you’re probably using elements of AI already. It doesn’t have to directly replace team members but it can be used to improve efficiency instead, reviewing practices and normal process; discovering where you can deliver more value and efficiency in an area. Some thoughts to get you started:

  1. Begin small – perhaps pilot a project on a small scale to test the effectiveness before committing to big investments.
  2. Select the right tools – take time to research and ensure you’re using the best AI tools for your business or project, something that is easy to integrate with existing systems.
  3. Quality control – depending on what process you’re using AI for – ensure there are review points. If you’re optimising a data based system ensure the input of data is accurate to start with, spend time here getting this right. If you’re using AI for marketing and comms ensure there’s a human overseeing this so that the personality of your brand is not missed.
  4. Invest in training – these new process could potentially mean your teams roles vary, ensure you communicate and are transparent with your plans. Encourage questions and provide training to the team so they can fulfil their roles effectively and confidently.
  5. Monitor and adapt – as technology is ever evolving, know it’s okay to change with it, making adjustments as and when to ensure you align with your business and customer needs.
