We are Rise HR – South West HR Consultants. A friendly team of HR professionals, who love helping small business owners with their people issues and building effective HR strategies. Whether the advice you need is regarding a difficult restructure, a mediation between two employees, a complex TUPE transfer, undertaking a disciplinary investigation, implementing employee engagement strategies or overcoming hybrid working challenges; you can trust that we’ll have someone with the right skillset to support you and your business.

Our Story

The Rise HR story is one that will ring true with a number of small business owners. It’s a partnership formed in 2009 by two University friends; Kirsty Senior and Georgina Read who both wanted to deliver more effective HR solutions for small businesses where our biggest competitors are the insurance backed helplines who rarely understand the real pain felt when things go wrong in a small business. Like all small businesses we have faced challenges along the way, but we have also been involved with some amazing businesses. We use all that experience in how we advise our customers every day. That is what makes our commercially based approach quite unique in the small business HR world.

Rise HR, (formerly CitrusHR Consulting), are here to support and advise your business. We help our customers stay on track with your legal obligations, retain talent, empower their employees and promote leadership development.
